Let’s Go Griffins! {Ticket Deals To The Best Game In Town}

It’s about that time, my friends.  The long awaited, much anticipated, HOCKEY SEASON.  We have yet another reason to be thankful we live in Grand Rapids; not only do we have an amazing team right here – they are not locked out by their own league as they discuss financial matters rather than entertaining us like they should be.

Our own financial matters, however, are another issue.  We all have to watch our pennies, and make sure we have saved up enough to pay for the best Griffins tickets possible.  Here are some ways to stretch your hockey ticket budget {Everyone has one of those; right? I thought so.} even further.

Put A Lid On It:  If your kid promises to wear their helmet each and every time they ride their bike, the Griffins will send them a pair of tickets to a game.  They want to protect those little noggins, which is the sweetest thing ever.  I know Griff is behind this initiative.  Don’t ask me how; I just do.

Check It Out:  Grand Rapids Public Library Cardholders can check out a pass for Griffins tickets! Call or stop by your local branch to see if there are any Griffins passes available, or when some will be coming up for grabs.

Library Nights: Prove your awesomeness by flashing your Grand Rapids Public Library or Kent District card on Sunday and Wednesday home games during the regular season to save $7 off the price of a Lower Level Faceoff ticket.

Military Nights: Every home game this season, current members of the military and veterans who present a VA ID or discharge papers can purchase up to four upper bowl tickets for $13 each (or $11 in advance at The Zone) with a valid military ID.

Social Media Deals: Check the Griffins on Twitter and Facebook for current discount codes, as well as other promotions.

Summer Reading Club: Participants in either of the library reading programs this summer received free passes to Griffins Games.  Ask your kids’ school if they are participating in any Griffins reading programs this year, too.

Are you ready for some Griffins Hockey?
