Yesterday, Maybelle had a couple of friends over in the afternoon. It didn’t take long at all for A.P. and my husband to decide among themselves that they needed to do some ‘guy stuff’ as an excuse to get away from all of the squealing and fashion shows. One of their manly activities included seeing Journey 2 at an IMAX theater. Even with the reduced price for it being a matinee it cost $38!! We bemoaned the cost over dinner, and because hockey is our point of reference for everything, realized that all four of us could have gone to a Griffins game for about that amount.
I’m thrilled to bring your family a chance to enjoy a real, live, 3D Griffins game on March 2 with a ticket discount! Three dollars of each ticket sold goes to support the Great Start Parent Coalition Diaper Drive; an annual event I am proud to support from an organization I am proud to be a member of.
The Diaper Drive collected more than 95000 diapers last year. All were donated to area food pantries which rarely receive donations for personal items. Programs like food stamps and WIC don’t cover diapers, and the thought of a baby sitting in a dirty diaper because their parents can’t afford to buy more breaks my heart.
For discounted tickets and a $3 per ticket donation to the Diaper Drive, use this link and the promo code BIGBINDER. It’s a great deal, and a great cause!
