Free Admission to National Parks!

There are several weekends this year you can get free admission to National Parks!

January 14-16
Martin Luther King Jr. weekend {go sledding on the Dunes!!}
April 21-29
National Park Week
June 9
Get Outdoors Day
September 29
National Public Lands Day
November 10-12
Veterans Day weekend

Many parks already offer free admission, but the ones that do charge are free on these weekends. The only one in Michigan is Sleeping Bear Dunes which is gorgeous. The other National Parks in Michigan {Isle Royale, Keweenaw, Motor Cities, North Country, and Pictured Rocks} are free year around.

Have you ever visited any of them? We went to Pictured Rocks a few years ago and I can’t wait to go back!
