I have to confess something.
I’ve been cheating on you. It started with some research, and then leaving comments on a few blogs here and there, and then buying a domain name.
Famous last words. One sale at my hosting company and I had that domain name purchased ‘just in case’ fully up and running in a hot minute. And then I started writing, you know, just to put the information out there in case anyone stumbled upon it.
Well, now I’ve gone and done it. I’ve guest posted. The first sign of a real commitment to a new blog, so I suppose it’s time to tell you all about my new love:
The UnProcessed Kitchen
And much like adding another child to your family. you find room in your heart {and schedule} you never knew you had. You love them both, just – differently. They have entirely different personalities; BigBinder is confident, ambitious, maybe a little bossy… and The UnProcessed Kitchen is curious, humble, and slightly shy.
Conceived at different times in life, BigBinder was a resourceful mommy with ants in her pants and a strong desire to share her love for her community.
The UnProcessed Kitchen was born almost out of despairation in an attempt to help that mommy feed her oldest child the best food for his condition.
What condition?
Read about it here, in my guest post on
Mom Colored Glasses.
If you are interested in food issues, peek in on The UnProcessed Kitchen. Like any newborn, it is tiny, but loud. Perhaps slightly disruptive as I find space for them both. But just as I did with my own children, I will let both of my blogs grow into what they were meant to be

Oh hon – I’m so feeling the need to give you a big hug right now! Not to sound cliche, but he has the best mom in the world to help him be who he is meant to be.

That doesn’t sound cliche to me, it sounds supportive and kind. Thank you

Congrats on the new blog! Even if it arose for reasons that are less than ideal. The boy is so lucky to have you for a mom – not only are you SMART enough to understand all the opaque mumbo jumbo, you have the CHUTZPAH to fight for what he needs. And the ability to share what you know with others so that their fight might be a bit easier.

ps… I think you need a plug-in to have your reply comments sent to the commenter. (I use “replyMail” – very easy to set up.)
