It’s one week from my 41st birthday.  That seems incredible to me.  This year went by FAST, but I have loved it.  I wasn’t exactly a pushover before, but now? Don’t even try it.  I’m 40 (almost 41).  I have two kids.  I have been married 9 years.

There is nothing I cannot do.  I fear no one.  Except the parking lot lady, who always yells at me for being on the phone when I pick up my kids.  But that’s it.

I didn’t really think about it, you know, that after turning 40 I would just keep on going.  41 is anti-climatic.  I will have to console myself with all of the free birthday goodies that come but once a year, no matter how old I am.  And by free, I mean – free.  A gift. None of this ‘free with the purchase of something twice as expensive’ business.

• Boston’s e mail club members get a free dessert coupon.
• Buffalo Wild Wings e mail club members get a free piece of cake.
• Chilis will email their e club member s a free brownie sundae.
• Culvers eClub members receive an email for a free one scoop Sundae.
• Denny’s – Sign up and get a free Grand Slam Breakfast on your birthday.
• Fazoli’s eclub members get a coupon for a free Italian Ice.
• Florentine Pizza (on Plainfield) sent me a coupon for a free large pizza up to 6 items, breadsticks, and two liter!! I signed up for their email list through Grand Rapids Sudden Values.
• Macaroni Grill sends it’s eClub members a coupon for a free piece of chocolate cake.
• MaggieMoo’s will send you a coupon for a free kid size cone when you sign up for MaggiEmail.
• Moe’s Southwest Grill – Sign up for the e club and they will email a coupon for a free birthday entree.
• Noodles and Company sends an email with a coupon for a free bowl of noodles.
• Panera – I am not a big gambler, but I feel like I won something big when get the occasional free treat from My Panera.  It’s a sure thing on your birthday!
• Red Robin gives eClub members a free burger – but they are switching their program soon.
• Ruby Tuesday- Sign up for Get Connected and get a free meal on your birthday.
• Texas Roadhouse – one of those ‘surprise’ deals.  It might be a piece of pie, or it might be  slab of ribs.
• Sephora – Sign up for Beauty Insider and stop in on your birthday for a free gift, it’s a full sized bottle!
• TCBY gives e club members a small cup of frozen yogurt.
