We’ve gone to several ‘agritourism’ places this year, and honestly each one was a disappointment. While the opportunity to ride in a monster truck and ride a zipline might be good business; we actually went to pick apples.
I love Dairy Discovery because they keep it real. They’re goal is to educate, and they do it in a fun and interesting way. Their Harvest Days event is Saturday, October 29 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, rain or shine.
During Harvest Days, you can:
- bottle feed calves
- watch cows being milked
- take a hayride
- listen to Bluegrass music, play in a corn box, have a snack, and do a corn maze
It’s $8 per person, and if you buy four admissions you get one free.
