Today, WalMart will announce that although 34,000 people voted for Grand Rapids/Wyoming to receive a million dollar grant towards ending hunger, it was not enough.
I’m not that sad.
If we won, that means someone else lost.
I did not feel good about hoping that people anywhere go hungry.
Ending hunger in West Michigan begins with education and involves innovation that ultimately will provide a solution.
