It’s time again for Gift of Green’s Clothesline Challenge! I participated last year and never really stopped. I learned to do one load of laundry every day or the loads don’t dry fast enough to keep up. We have a dehumidifier because our basement is damp, so that helps a little.
I do allow myself Monday Whites Exemption. I save all of my towels, sheets, dishcloths, etc and wash and dry them (in the dryer) on Monday. True confession time – I wash them on hot and use bleach. Lots of it.
But anyway, back to the side of me that Al Gore loves. I hang my clothes dry on two indoor clotheslines. In fact, I now have TWO drying racks of my very own. Oh yeah. Don’t be hatin’. You can hang too; go visit Amy at Gift Of Green to get the details, and to sign up. Leave me a comment if you decide to join in on the fun!

I’m thinking of joining,
but at this rate and with this rain, I’m heading straight to clothesline loser-ville. I do something similar to you – I do “unmentionables”and things like millions of teeny socks during the week and save all towels, sheets, jeans, etc. for the weekend so I can hang them out…in the rain. Did I mention all the rain!?
