HI! I am so excited to be blogging again.  There is just a ton I want to share with you all and I’m not quite sure where to start.  I am still not quite done working yet, but the crazy hours are over on account of no one wants to buy a Christmas tree after Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas trees (you think I’d be sick of them since that’s all I’ve been talking about for months!), I just read that there are a lot of different options for recycling them in our area.

In Grand Rapids, you can take them to Riverside or JC Park on January 3 or 4 and recycle them for free.  This will save you the cost of the ‘tree tag’ for curbside pick-up. For other metro GR areas, click the link to this article for more info. 

I am looking forward to sharing my ‘Working Mom’ adventures with you all.  I plan on picking up right where I left off, but with a little more ‘budget’ content.  My husband works for an automotive supplier and is currently on layoff, so we are challenged to cut back.  I know a lot of people are in this situation, and I am going to share what I learn and ask for ideas as well. 

I am sure that Grand Rapids will not let me down, and will continue to entertain and educate me, Maybelle, A.P. and Mr. Binder for a few bucks less.  It’s a pleasure to be back – I know it’s been a while, and I hope that I still have a few readers out there somewhere
